Friends Only Journal!

A few things:

1. If you are already on my friend's list, don't worry, you're staying. =]

2. A journal is called a journal for a reason. I use it for it's potential-meaning that I vent, rant, and blabber. Just to let you know.

3. I'm an extremely open-minded person. I have my beliefs, but I'm always willing to listen and understand why people have their opinions. I expect my friends to act the same, to an extent. Being closed-minded is one of my largest pet peeves.

4. Don't get all butthurt if I don't comment your journals. I read them, I promise I do, but most of the time I just don't have the time to comment.

5. Music is my life. I respect almost every genre and have respect for every passionate musician out there. If you have a problem with what I listen to, please keep it to yourself, I don't want to hear it.

6. My friends mean everything to me. Please respect them with the same respect you would have for me.

I don't think there's anything else to touch up on. If you comment, you will most likely be added. =]
Welcome

Just got back. Hella traffic from LA to OC...ugh it's hell.

ANYWAYS!

1. The band was NOT there. Not too much of a problem. Would have made everything PERFECT. Anywho.

Overall note about the director: I like him a lot. More than Sam Bayer that's for DAMN sure. I saw Sam at the premiere of Bullet in A Bible and he just seemed so full of himself, just always halfway unbutoned shirts and thought he looked cool. This guy just was totally passing out leaflets, you couldn't even tell he was famous. Hell, I didn't know who he was till it finally clicked. lol He was thanking everyone for coming out, just walking through the line, it was great.

Review time!! )

So our family friend is A LOT better from what I've been hearing. I mean, she's still in the Intensive Care Unit, but she's responding. Everyone's been there to help her out. I haven't been there because I've been WAY busy, but my grandma's been there daily and she's told her that I'm going to be giving blood the next time I can. It's most likely the next time the truck is going to be at my college.

I did my shoot today at a local park and the pictures came out great in my opinion. There are a few that didn't come out as so, but I'm happy with them. I'll be sure to update when they're done editing by Bruce. I've also been putting thought into which photos should I make into my portfolio. I was told that no more than 15 is a decent amount, so out of all my pix, I have to choose fifteen. Ouch. lol If you haven't already, add my photography page at www.myspace.com/alexiphotography Thanks. :D

I don't do this often, but I'm sort of begging.

Please donate blood. Please. It's so important.

Our family friend is still in the hospital, she's responding now. Her heart did stop on the way to the hospital, so her organs started to shut down, but they're getting them back up and running slowly. She's had like 9-10 pints of blood transfused into her already, and it's so important. If it does get worse again, she'll need more blood. She's having a lot of trouble because she's over 60 and she's had health problems, but she's one of the strongest women I've ever met. I'm going to make an appointment before I go to work to donate tomorrow morning in her name. I'm O- so I have universal blood, but just donating counts. It's not that bad. I have the worst pain tolerance in the world and it doesn't phase me.

Just please donate blood when you can. Go to givelife.org to make an appointment, they're super flexible. Whenever you can, just do it. You can save 3 lives by one pint...or in this case, help out in those emergencies...

Be sure to vote if you are already registered.

(it's my mom's birthday tomorrow too..heh)

Vote for what you want. Don't vote for what you THINK is the popular vote or what SOUNDS good. Do your research before the big day. Know what and who you are voting for. Know where your polling place is.

Don't vote because you think your vote will count.
Vote to exercise your RIGHT to vote. =]

As of tomorrow, we will know who the next President of the United States of America will be.

Less than a week to go before we go to the polls and if you live in California, voting no on proposition 8 is the right decision.

The example they keep giving is that it was taught in second grade in Massachusetts. 1. It's Massachusetts.
I know this proposition will (if it's voted NO on) will change the Sexual Education in SIXTH grade to being taught of both heterosexual and homosexual relationships. My boyfriend doesn't think this is good because it's still early in children's development and it could influence a decision. I don't mind it, if I had a child, I would let them be taught about it, but enforced at home that it is THIER choice, make it up to them and no one else.
AND AND AND!
Before Sex Ed, a permission slip is sent home and a parent can choose to take their child out of class that day. The commercials lie when their government said they couldn't...that's bullshit. Maybe in Massachusetts, but in CALIFORNIA? Hell no, we're bitches over here. lol

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that these people only want the rights to get married so that they can have the same CIVIL rights as everybody else. I don't mind these people being together. I don't have a problem with someone's sexuality, that's their own choice.

Religion should never be tied in with politics. That's final.

Vote No on Prop. 8 Please.

P.S. Public Entry. =]

I haven't been here for a while (there's news). Just been working full time at the Ramada Limited lately. So yeah.

Anyways, what I'm here for:

As you guys know, I'm totally for immigration. It's like a passion thing. I'm against those anti-immigration people, just extremely closed mindedness. ANYWAYS.

If you guys agree, please visit this profile I made on myspace, join up, spread the word, do whatever you can. If you guys are into graphics, I could use those, anything you guys have to help this along. I can't stay quiet anymore....this needs to get huge...seriously.

it's called The Real American Dream.

so please guys...join?

(Shit, haha, meant to post this somewhere else, but feel free tolook at my pix anyways. HAHA)

I went there yesterday with my boyfriend as a sort of "end of summer" thing. hehe. Yeah, we just went. These aren't the best pictures I've ever taken, but I just wanted to relax so I didn't take many. I just wanted SOME at least.

We got there and saw this sign that I found kind of funny seeing how everyone was in the water anyways (note the empty chairs)

(sorry about the size, no program on my comp resizes anymore without losing quality)
A few more... )

Ah, so here it is. I couldn't think of a title, so if any of you have an idea, go ahead an shoot it out, 'cause I'm at a loss here. =P Let me know what you think. I don't think it's a purely final draft, but there are little minor things that need to be fixed, maybe for flow or something, but I haven't caught that stuff yet. So, I'm gonna shut up now and put it in here. =]

Title: Untitled for now.

Disclaimer: This came from my immagination. None of the charecters are owned and were made up in my mind while brainstorming. Note the word "fiction".

Summary (in case you don't care. =P): "Nothing paranormal has happened to me before this, I was just another person in the world, another girl you see every day. Nothing special." But what Danielle has to worry about is much larger than battling her thoughts between what's right and wrong, and what's true and what's not.

I'll be keeping an eye on you, Dani )
